The pain and disability associated with my arthritis has been exhausting over the past 20 years. It’s a struggle some days just to get out of bed. Because of the debilitating disease I carry with me daily, and the mental struggle to stay strong, I now suffer from depression. Sometimes I think the pain worsens with the severity of the depression. Treating the depression can have far-reaching effects for people with arthritis. Treatment options for depression include medication, psychotherapy, and exercise. Becoming more educated about one’s condition also seems to reduce or prevent depression. I hope that this site will help everyone with their battle and maybe help with more than just the pain.
food supplementation with glucosamine and chondroitin helps me a lot in managing arthritis. dont forget to have regular exercise too.
