All of my tests came back negative for Rheumatoid Arthritis all my life, but my doctor was sure that it was an inflammatory disease. He sent me to a colleague of his for a second opinion and after more testing they still came back negative. I had the second doctor look at a MRI of my neck and back and thought that I was at least 60 years old (I was only 35 at the time). He explained to me how they can be negative but you can still have RA.
I’ve had what they think is RA now for over 20 years (diagnosed as JRA, so depending on who you talk to its still JRA, but I’m 36). I have NEVER ONCE tested positive for RA. I have tried every treatment know to man for RA without success. As my body continues to break down and the pain increases, I am looking “outside the box” for treatment ideas. I was thinking of acupuncture and was wondering if anyone has tried it and what the end result has been…
